Join Our Junior Hockey Program: Fun, Development, and Competitive Play for All Ages

Are you looking for an exciting and active way for your child to develop new skills, make friends, and have fun? Our junior hockey program offers a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to get involved in the sport. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment where young players can learn the game, improve their skills, and enjoy the thrill of playing hockey.

Training Opportunities for All Age Groups

We offer free training sessions twice a week, tailored to different age groups to ensure that every child receives the right level of coaching and support.

• For Ages 5-11: Our youngest players train on Mondays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Westholme School in Blackburn. These sessions focus on introducing the basics of hockey in a fun and engaging way, perfect for beginners and those still developing their skills.
• For Ages 12+: Older juniors, train on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Westholme School. These sessions are designed to build on existing skills and prepare players for more competitive play.

Competitive Opportunities for Juniors

We’re proud to offer competitive playing opportunities for boys and girls across several age groups:

• U8s, U10s, U12s, and U14s Teams: Our junior teams play in matches twice a month on Sundays, providing a great chance for young players to test their skills in a fun and supportive competitive environment. These games are designed to be inclusive, ensuring that players of all levels can participate and enjoy the experience of playing in a team.
• For Ages 12+: In addition to junior competitions, children aged 12 and over have the exciting opportunity to get involved in adult hockey. They can play in our club’s Adult Development Team, where they’ll gain valuable experience playing alongside and against older, more experienced players. Games for the Adult Development Team are held on Saturdays throughout the season, which runs from September to April.

Free Training and Equipment Provided

We believe in making hockey accessible to all. That’s why all our training sessions are free to attend. Plus, we provide all the necessary equipment, so there’s no need to worry about having the right gear—just bring your enthusiasm and readiness to learn!
