A good warm up match ahead of start of season this week.

Team was very different to that that faced Garstang in the cup round last week due to holidays & missing players. We faced a strong well drilled and organised Bolton team on their home pitch. 2 quick early goals saw us go behind very quickly (one of which was a harsh decision by Clare in awarding a straight short corner for a free hit taken whilst wearing a face mask!)

Towards the end of the 2nd quarter we seemed to settle our game down and came back into it but again Bolton were ruthless in front of goal again scoring 2 quick goals. Final result loss 4-0.

Thanks to Boxy & Bronte for stepping down from 1s due to them having 18 players.

Praise needs to go also to Junior Daisy who played her 1st senior game in goal for us making some worthwhile stops to stop the score being much worse.

Start of season on Saturday with an away fixture at Lytham where we can all get used to playing with each other & building on what we learn at training 👍
